Question: If a collaborative were to be put together and consisting of Bcog Planning Association and Prairie Avenue neighborhood initiative alone, would this be sufficient for a partnership?
Answer: No, we are looking for a construction sector partnership-refer to Industry Partnership definition in the RFP and above.
Question: Is this grant for training?
Answer: No.
Question: If partnerships are put together, do we have to wait 12 months for training dollars?
Answer: This partnership contract will be awarded for one year; two additional one year contracts will be awarded based upon successful performance against contract deliverables. These subsequent contracts will not likely be for training.
Question: You must have fiscal and administrative capabilities?
Answer: Yes.
Question: Is this the same as the last RFP?
Answer: Generally with minor changes.
Question: How many Partnership contracts are out there?
Answer: There are eight: Healthcare (2), Marine Trades (Construction), IT, Bio, Manufacturing, Hospitality and Construction.
Question: The grant itself doesn’t really fall under this?
Answer: The contracts we sign are public records. We are talking about social security numbers, payrolls, etc. You may have access to that and that would become a confidentiality issue.
Question: Would funds leveraged from the various partnerships reduce the overall award under this RFP?
Answer: No.
Question: If there is a start up fiduciary, could a financial statement be substituted for an audit?
Answer: We recognize a partnership may have just begun, but you must submit your most recent audit. The lack of financial capability of the fiduciary will be evaluated as part of the proposal review process.
Question: Would you accept a performance bond as security of disallowed costs?
Answer: That would be something we would consider. It is not a requirement.
Question: Instead of submitting an audit can we submit a letter saying an audit is in progress and will be submitted later?
Answer: No
Question: Is there any chance the deadline date could be extended?
Answer: No
